We just got back from meeting a possible supplier for Liliana’s medical supplies. I had talked with them on Friday and they said they didn’t accept the Medicaid insurance; the lady I’ve been working with double-checked on it and said they do accept the insurance as long as it’s a secondary!
So while all the supplies should be covered, we are going to have to deal with some changes. This company is only able to get one kind of feeding pump, the Kangaroo, and I’m not sure what version it’s going to be. The feeding bags are also going to be 1000ml, which is twice the size of the bags we’re using now. These are things we can adapt to, but I talked with the lady and she’s not sure if there’s a backpack for the pump. If there isn’t, I’m going to have to modify something in order to be able to feed Liliana on the go.
Okay, Liliana’s going to have her evaluation with Early Intervention in about an hour and a half. I’m going to get things ready. Hopefully the evaluation goes well!
