Liliana is a survivor of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), a condition where a hole in the diaphragm allows abdominal organs to rise into the chest, and this blog is a place where friends and family can go to be updated on Liliana’s health and development.

If this is your first time to the blog, I advise reading about the beginning before anything.

Thank you for posting about the challenges of raising a CDH child. I am blessed with twin girls, born to us June 23, 2010. While Coco is completely healthy, Celeste was born with left-side CDH. I was diagnosed at 32 weeks, so we didn’t have much time to absorb and prepare. After a lengthy stay of 6 months at BCCH, we were able to bring her home! We are also dealing with the effects of reflux and oral aversion as well. Reading your blog has allowed us to be able to connect with someone who understands the challenges. Thank you again!!
