Liliana had a rough night.

We went to apply for WIC yesterday just for Liliana and since I had a WIC prescription for Elecare, they’re going to be shipping us this special formula. We had been feeding Liliana the Good Start formula these past few weeks and started up with the Elecare again last night.

She kept waking up and crying! Throughout the whole night.

I’m not sure if she was digesting it so much faster that she became hungry (which is unlikely: when I happen to miss a nighttime feeding, she hardly ever wakes up and cries) or if it was giving her stomachaches.

Maybe she just has to get used to it, but I don’t think I’m going to be getting much sleep if she continues her nighttime crying.

So today we’re going to get a hepatobiliary (DISIDA) scan done, which is to evaluate her liver function. I think it’s supposed to help us figure out whether her gallstones keep blocking the duct, which causes pain and nausea.

We’re also getting the brace today, so it’s going to be a busy day for the both of us!

Here are the photos…they were taken earlier this week when I was trying to feed Liliana carrots. I had given her a spoon to hold, and she was more interested in her spoon than the carrots! She’s so silly.

That's the wrong end! But she doesn't care.

Alright, it’s time to get ready for the drive to the Children’s Hospital. Have a great Friday!
