Ah, Friday! There’s nothing like waking up to the sound of crying children!
Okay, I’m tired and the kids need to be fed soon so I’ll try to make this quick.
Damien’s 4 month well visit was yesterday and here are his stats:
- Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz … 82.97 percentile
- Height: 25 inches … 55.52 percentile
- Head Circumference: 16.73″ … 58.1 percentile
We’re going to the CHOP Care Network office in Coatesville now and the pediatrician was really nice. She checked Damien’s development and said that it would be fine to start feeding him rice cereal since his development is up to par. It would probably help Liliana to see him eating, so maybe I’ll have to do feedings at the table with Damien in a high chair and Liliana in a booster. I’m getting stressed just thinking about it and the messes that will be made!
I just got a call from an occupational therapist through Early Intervention. We scheduled a visit with her, so she’ll be coming next Monday afternoon. There’s also a nurse that will be visiting next week as well, and that will be Thursday morning. Friday morning we have a follow-up appointment with Liliana’s orthopedic doctor; I’m a bit anxious about that because I’ve noticed Liliana’s spine now has a 2nd curve going the opposite direction of her original curve. The occupational therapist who was here for Liliana’s Early Intervention evaluation actually said that sometimes happens because the body is trying to compensate…we’ll have to wait and see what the doctor thinks of it.
The weather’s actually gotten nice lately, so Liliana and I spent some time outside. I tried blowing bubbles and taking pictures at the same timeāit didn’t work out too well.
Okay, time to feed the kids, get a coffee refill, and start cleaning up for the weekend.
